A lovely little vintage Observer's Book of Birds, with its original textured brown cover and beautifully illustrated pages.
Inside are descriptions and illustrations of British birds, including kingfishers, owls and many others, with the charmingly concise observations and illustrations typical of these old natural-history guides.
It is a lovely little book for a collector of vintage books, natural history or ephemera, but I can also imagine it being rather wonderful as part of a miniature library, study or photography set.
These are lovely books, and quite collectible.
