This is a small piece of old broderie anglaise style lace. There is only a small piece, about 50cm long, but it would make a lovely central panel on a dolly bodice, or such like. Creamy in colour and a very pretty design.
These vintage laces are genuinely very old, collected over many years in my searches through brocantes and vintage fairs, they will show signs of their age, so bear this in my mind when purchasing. I think this adds to rather than detracts from their charm.
